The Perfect Wake Up Call

The beautiful aroma of Wild Orange may be one of my absolute favorites to diffuse. It’s such a refreshing citrus scent that reminds you of summer afternoons in the sunshine. The sweetness never fails to make you smile. In fact, several realtors have started diffusing this essential oil in their houses before showing them as it increases the happy “willing to buy” feelings in their customers!

I especially like dropping a few drops of Wild Orange on the shower floor in the morning for an extra boost to start my morning right. 😊 I also will put a few drops on the drier balls that I throw in with my laundry!

doTerra Wild Orange essential oil is cold-pressed from the rind. It is cultivated in many areas throughout the world, including the United States, South Africa, Italy, and China. Historically, especially bitter oranges have been used for palpitation, scurvy, jaundice, bleeding, heartburn, relaxed throat, prolapse of the uterus and anus, diarrhea, and blood in the feces.

Now it’s most commonly used to bring emotional balance combating anxiety, fear, and nervousness, with peace and joy!

While I use this essential oil directly on my skin and have consumed it in water. It’s always a good idea, if you’re concerned about skin sensitivity, to use essential oils with a carrier oil such as coconut or grapeseed oil.

Which oils would you like to learn more about? What is your favorite use for Wild Orange?
